In the world of jet skis, there is arguably no craft that has more new ideas packed into it than this one. The hull, deck, saddle, stowage and even the glove box showcase clever engineering and design. The result is a machine that is at home whether you are taking a high-speed run on a glassy lake, carving around buoys on a race course or beaching to have a picnic and a swim with friends.
The ST3 hull is an instant classic that has developed a reputation for stability and great rough water handling. Sea-Doo designers didn’t stop with that though, and they also dreamed up ways to enhance at-rest activities, including the new LinQ accessory system that uses a pair of pull-up composite “cleats” recessed into the deck which can be used to secure accessories like a 4.2-gallon cooler ($279), gas caddy ($179) or 5.5-gallon semi-rigid dry bag ($194).
There’s also a high-tech waterproof audio system that plays your phone playlist via the speakers tucked into the footwells. If you want to take the party even further, a pair of optional add-ons allow you to extend the storage capacity by adding a 5.2-gallon cooler or a 9.5-gallon fuel caddy. With two riders onboard and a full load of gear, there is essentially nowhere this ski won’t go or any adventure you can’t undertake. The Explorer Pro comes with a trailer, Rotax 1630 ACE jet-drive powerplant (with 130 to 230 horsepower), and all the usual Sea-Doo PWC perks. seadoo jetski
