Whipped Soap is the new kid on the soap block, taking the skincare world by storm. It’s luscious texture, swirls of vibrant colours and delightful scents have the ability to transform your daily shower or bath into an indulgent experience. And best of all, it’s gentle on the skin, cleansing while moisturizing it and leaving it soft and supple.
Unlike traditional soap bars that can leave your skin feeling tight and dry, whipped soaps are formulated with a mix of hard oils like shea butter and non-greasy humectants such as glycerin. Combined with essential oils and natural colourants, they offer an array of unique and luxurious variations that can be used as hand or body wash, shaving creams, facial cleansers and salt and sugar body scrubs.
To use a whipped soap, wet the skin and gently scoop out a small amount with clean hands or a spoon. Then rub the soap across your palms and massage gently into the skin. It’s important to only use a small amount at a time, as too much can over-moisturize your skin. Once your soap has fully lathered, rinse it off and gently pat dry with a towel.
To make your own whipped soap, simply combine your chosen hard oils and nourishing butters with your premade bar soap and lye solution in a large bowl. Once mixed, add your fragrances, essential oils and soap colour and whisk again. Once your soap mixture is cooled, you can begin to shape it. I opted for simple round jars that are perfect for gifting and can be easily labelled using our printable labels. Whipped Soap
